I personally find it easier to just click "Leita að hleypur sem beygingarmynd" after it says it can't find it (or toggle the option, to the far right of the search box, during the initial search). This does a search over all conjugated forms (for verbs) and declensions (for nouns) and will bring up the list of main word entries that contain it. But it's nice to incorporate more tools and get people used to what malid.is has got to offer!

I’m still slightly confused how I would say “I like” and how I would say “like” in a comparing way in Icelandic. I’ve heard “eins og” used for comparing and “mér líður” used for “I like.” I’d like some actual help from an Icelander. Takk!
