The new 2637-20 M12 Rover pivoting floodlight is an awesome addition to Milwaukee's jobsite lighting lineup. Thanks to Milwaukee for providing a review sample.

Slow down, at this rate you're going to get 10 million subscribers this year. You have an unfair advantage: you get straight to the point, don't beat around the bush, and present the pros and cons of the tool. That is a recipe for instant subscriptions!

EVERY product review video should be as clear, concise, and interesting as this one. Thank you for putting together all of the information in a compact, straight-to-the-point video. Saved us all a bunch of wasted time. Definitely subscribed to your channel!

I like that new light. I have the old one. Only real complaint I have about it is that the 4ah batteries are a pain to pull out of the light.

Just got mine today.... I've been using a Bosch 12V light that was similar but have been slowly switching to M12 tools.

A little bigger than my Bosch but I like it.

Great review! Got the 4-in-1 install drill and Rover on the way and I'm looking forward to using them.

Thanks for the review. As far as hanging, you could easily attach a loop/lanyard to a piece of flat metal but you're right, would have been nice to have one built in. Cheers.

I love mine got it a few weeks back from Ohio Power Tool use it for car repairs and other small spaced areas. Just picked up the M18 Rover light as well as the searchlight they are both on sale at HD added them to my collection with both M18 and m12 Rockets lights. p.s was hoping that Ryobi was going to show some of those items you should on that patent video was truly disappointed.

Thanks for this great comparison video. Love the compact size and the price point. I can see this working really well in compact spaces where size matters more than output. I also agree that $60 is a good pricepoint for this compact light. What's the amp output on the USB port? Would've been nice if Milwaukee designed the USB A port to be a fast charge/QC 3.0, or even better a PD USB-C port (hey, a guy can wish right?).

I never thought of it as a comparable light to the “mounting” rover. Now I don’t feel like I got such a good deal getting them on clearance. 😂
I really thought of it more as an M12 power source with a light slapped on. I didn’t realize it won’t charge the battery though. Now I feel it’s more of a replacement for the lantern.

I own 12V battery lights from Makita, Milwaukee (original Rover), and Skil (Mechanical Light). Tj=he Mak8ta has the most beam options. The Skil has the most mounting options. The Milwaukee has the best color accuracy.

Use mine for AC installs in attics, just enough to not use another flashlight

biggest thing i wish every Milwaukee light had was the mode button... i think you were trying to rafter hook on the new, that would be ideal

I was wondering if anybody has heard if Milwaukee will be releasing a M12 Fuel right angle impact driver?

Yeah I'm gonna have like 4 of these little guys.

Nice review👍🏼 but I think Milwaukee should add a hook to hang it out on the tool bag otherwise we need to keep it on our hands 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
