Let us know your thoughts on this new Milwaukee M12 ROVER Service & Repair Flood Light w/ USB Charging (2367-20) and if you think they could have made it better or you know what they were thinking by releasing this light down in the comments section.

If you're a service tech (plumber, hvac, electrician, etc) working in a small place or working on a piece of equipment, 700 lumens is MORE than adequate. When you're a service tech all you want is good light in a small package that won't die on you when you're in a crawl space or force you to go back to the van to get something else. This light is perfect for that and I think that was their intent.

Its only 700 lumens, but its 700 lumens for 8 HOURS! Thats what they were thinking.

I use my M12 rover light everyday and love it. I’m an electrician. Working above drop ceilings. Lighting up small rooms. Lighting up the general area where I’m working. Or when I’m on a scissor lift. It works all day and then some. The run time and lumens is great. Magnetically sticks to any steel around. And fits in my tool bag perfectly. Well worth every penny.

No magic number for lumens is required by task but if you are wanting a light that will provide light for extended periods of time, put away your pocket flashlight and hang the Rover with an XC battery. You're way off on this rant.

Yo Vin. 1100 lumens is to bright in an engine compartment. It blinds you bouncing off bare metal or your tools. This light rocks for automotive and heavy equipment repair. Specialized light.

My pocket light has 1200 lumen peak and honestly magnetizing it to something and turning it on that bright is almost too much. I personally think 700 is the sweet spot for eye strain, run time, heat, and visibility

Alright Vince, I can personally say I am pumped about this light. Most of your expertise is in the construction field, NOT so much the car accessory field. I install remote starts all day through winter. I currently use the 550 lumen 4V Rover, but battery changing is a pain. The higher lumen lights are too big for under a dash and you need a light this size to coordinate placement while working. Flashlights are too narrow a field for use and can't be set down. I think your opinion is narrowed to your field. Keep it up though, love how critical you are!

Its $59 bucks brand new. Too critical here. Sorry this is excellent. The m12 flood light is a 1000. The rocket light is 1400 lumens. The m12 stick light with the metal hook on, is 350-400 lumens. So this is perfect. Strong ass magnet, super small, lightweight. Its for being in tight spaces where u no longer will need a stupid headlamp all the time and blind everyone u speak to. TY for the review VCG, u were just giving your honest review. That's why I subscribe to this channel.

I have been waiting for this light. I am happy with what I see so far, can’t wait to get my hands on it. I am a field service tech and do a lot of work with the power off so I need a lite like this so when I am testing inside a cabinet I can see what I am doing. I don’t want to hold a flashlight the whole time I want something I can magnet to the box and go to work and not have to worry about the battery for the time I am working. Also I am buying a light not a cell changer so the 2.1 usb is just a bonus. I think I will be happy with it when I can finally get one.

The 1100 lumen flashlight will only run for 1.75 hours. The rover light is much better for a 8 hour shift day. Or even 24 hours on low!

As an HVAC service tech i really love this light, i can easily hang it on ductwork and point it into air handlers in customers dark dank basements, the swivel is great

Ive got one, its awesome. Only thing missing was a hanger/bracket. I made one, it sticks to the magnet giving an infinite amount od adjustment angles. Its awesome!

It's a real awesome light. Perfect balance of lumens, run time, convenience. And the design is awesome when you are in a confined space and you need to leave it on the ground, you pivot it upwards. Super nice light. Depends if it's the right light for you that is all! Try lighting up your work area with your flashlight and work with both hands.

This has to be the first time I disagree. Im a plumber and this light is absolutely perfect. Yeah the flash light is bright but it wont give you all day run time and getting it in a spot to keep the area lit without falling is impossible. The fact you can orient this light any which way with all day run time on high and it doesnt bother the eyes for 59 bucks is incredible. Fits perfect in my pro pac also.
