finally someone understands the pain of externals being taken and griefed to ruin your main base. this is what you need to maximally protect it, then slap on externals on top of this and multiple layers of compounds

Right on point - I was working on something similar - if only one external is actually protecting your base why not build a second base instead of externals. Then any externals only protect the area around the base, which is fine. Getting the middles to come together is tricky... Kudos!

This is the fresh breath of air the Rust base building community needed. These are certainly the best base designs since Evil Wurst! I really like your approach to the building part of the game. It's so boring to see pretty much the same bases everywhere. I can't wait to test this on a build server. I hope I get ramps to the front door so I can drive right in.
