*************
Philosopher and economist Karl Marx was known for his theory of #Marxism on which the modern form of communism is based. #Communism can be defined as the thought of economic equality where the concept of private property doesn’t exist. The vision of communism was built by Marx on the technological and human possibilities that were available and visible at his time while also considering the fact that it would be adopted by the new socialist society.

6:04 an error is made here. The Communist Manifesto was published not in 1948 but in 1848.

This is copied from wikipedia with loads of disinformation added in. The video sounds and feels like AI generated, but was published before AI was mainstream or accessible, it's quite the accomplishment to be as bad as AI without even using it. I hope whoever makes these videos gets a real hobby

The chapter about Stalin is all wrong. The politicians who confessed their crimes during the 3 Moscow trials were sentenced to death. The ones who didn't confess were sentenced to prison or liberated. Also Stalin didn't organise the gulags. They existed long before Stalin became the prime minister in May of 1941. Stalin was only the member of Politburo and secretary of the communist party. But Stalin was the most popular politican in the world and the Soviet Union. He was nominated for the Nobel peace award and proclaimed the man of the year by the magazine Time in 1939 or 1940.

Why do US citizens react in anger to communism? It seems like the word communism is misinterpreted with tyranny and dictatorship. Or are they similar?

When I was a kid I used to wonder why everything couldn’t just be free. Then I grew up and realized that would mean labor would also have to be free and we have a word for that and it’s commonly know to be a bad thing.

the diallectic
thesis: corporate crony capitalism
antithesis: communism
synthesis: mom and pop, worker owned for profit business, holistic healthy consumerism (green, minimalist, biodegradable, etc.), independent artisanal, family farms, conscientious objectors as new civilian defense (against fascist governments)

How can you tell a doctor that studied and worked for 12 years to get to where they are that their work is the same as a factory worker who did not do the same?
