A true communist society is stateless, i.e. without governments. The USSR did not claim to be communist, the Bolsheviks merely believed that the best way to reach a stateless society was the implementation of a strong socialist state in order to crush capitalism.

Poland, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Bulgaria and Romania did not adopt Communism it forced on them by the Soviets'.

This is a clear explanation of the goals of communism. However, the Eastern European countries did not "adopt" communism voluntarily. They were forced that direction by the USSR military. Notice that with the Berlin Crisis, East Berlin needed armed guards to keep their people from fleeing their "workers paradise."

Communism has alot of good principals but I have yet to see, read or hear about a country who is really communist and isnt a dictatorship, has freedom and laws and few to no non goverment 1 percenters. Middle class blue collar and white collar as the richest non goverment officials would be a beautiful thing.

I always wondered what was communism about, I recently studied the european history of the 20th century, especially after ww2 and the creation of the iron curtain. I was wondering why communism was so much hated by the United states and other countries. Now I get the idea, ty for this video
