Edit: Now as an 1700 I can punish mistakes made by the opponents. This applies to simpler openings rather than very or even little complex ones. Chess is truly hard.

Catalan got me out of the 1480s to a 1520 and honestly there is still a lot of its theory i still need to learn but i really like it and I'm still able to mix in ideas from queen gambit lines and it is just has been really nice
