In this series I try to give a lot of raze tips and tricks in valorant. I try to reach ascendant by only playing with raze. road to ascendant raze only I guess :). Apologies to all the Cypher mains out there! After doing a full series with a sentinel I felt like switching agent roles would be more enjoyable, for me to play and for the non-sentinel players to watch. Maybe I’ll start a cypher series next act!

Fellow raze main here...just a few things I learned while playing raze

1. Do not be afraid to do flashy plays...it is very unexpected especially in the first 4-5 rounds of any game.
2. Use boombot to clear angles that you don't want to risk clearing yourself, even if it's just through a smoke or checking for a nearby lurker
3. Nade > Boombot if you want to land some damage on the enemy...save your nade and instead send your boombot.
4. Don't use your ult in the open, for example Pearl B site...you cannot check 5 different angles at once and it's very easy for the enemy to one-tap you out of the air. Prefer ulting around close corners or angles where the enemy has to flick really hard to hit you.
5. Satchels can be used for more than just double jumps...you can Ferrari peek around basically ANY corner in valorant with a single satchel.

Whenever you’re double jumping off of a high place, try to put the first satchel on the ground instead of where you’re standing. You can gain much much more momentum that way

2:14 just want to clear this thing, when using raze's satchel, you will not take fall damage, it just happened here because raze hit the top part of the window which was not that too noticeable

I have one tip for you. As a raze main I would suggest to change you satchel button to a thumb button that way you can use you left strafe key in the air as I found out quite soon you will need both of your strafe keys while In the air

One little advice, if the area around you is clear, or if an enemy isnt actively Holding your angle, you should throw your satchel on the grund (if you have a high ground like Belt on icebox) because you have more Momentum and you can jump a lot further

New raze main here, but thought to share smth I like to do with her satchel! I sometimes use it to get away from an open area or simply throw off the enemy’s aim, look quickly to left or right and satchel away into safety to be able to fix crosshair placement. It’s good to avoid the enemy from trading

Quick tip that everyone might already know:
If you use YOUR satchel to jump and it pushes you, you wont take any fall damage as long as you dont touch the ground before falling, this could be used to your advantage as you can put a satchel above you in A heaven and shoot yourself downwards without taking fall damage (also makes you land faster so you dont get killed in the air)
