This is so true in so many industries! The school system too! Teachers do this often towards students and some people reading this have experienced this firsthand. I have from teachers and employees at companies. I have been given more things for free than others. One of my most recent experiences was a sales clerk at a gas station who liked me for many years and gave me a fresh free large pizza and more things from the station. Her energy and the way she looks at me, its so obvious she has THE HOTS for me lol! ❤‍🔥❤‍🔥 It happens all the time just many people don't realize the special treatment given to many people due to their attractiveness.

Also, an employer should task a female associate to interview females so that there is little to no bias.

Also, in practise the halo effect could benefit a business if two candidates are equally skilled for a position, the more attractive candidate may theoretically preform better with clients or closing deals.

I would rather hire someone who isn't necessarily "good-looking". My preference is to find people who compliment the traits of my team the best.
