The concept of Emmet becoming Rex is really underrated, the thing I hear whenever anyone does a movie review on the second movie, no one talks about that, only who’s directing or how it bombed in the box office, people seem to get really hung over on that kinda stuff.

I imagine that the plot of the movie in the au would be that Lucy works in a cafeteria and one day after what would be the garbage finds the master piece, then she runs into Emmett who calls himself Rex, and the same thing happens as in the movie but this time Emmet leading Lucy, and I suppose that instead of Batman, Rex would be dating Batgirl if we want to follow the lore that Lego Batman came out later, and everything else would remain the same as in the movie, and in the movie two instead of Emmet becoming Rex, Lucy would become freestyle, and it would also be revealed that Emmet sang the original version of the song "everything is awesome"

I love the Lego movie, it shows that even the most simplest of people can have amazing and beautiful ideas but because of wanting to fit in with the crowd they forget what they can do except when choosing your own path, you are capable of multiple things and I think it so cool that they animated legos and they were controlled by a kid, but watching this just gave me some much questions about different time lines, it’s a great video and keep up the good work 🫶
