Thank you for doing these videos where you find out how top players do what they do. Their tips have been really helpful to improving my game play. Please do more of these. Could you please do one about how the top GBL player reaches the top ranking, especially their strategies & how they create their GBL most effective Teams? I'm doing a lot better in GBL, but maybe some of their tips & strategies can help me get even better in GBL (which although I used to dislike GBL, I'm starting to really enjoy it a lot more now). Thanks Daxi, you are amazing & your content is amazing too!

Just a lil' tip I've been doing: if you have a mega pokemon you want to best buddy but the mega isn't out yet, wait till it is released then work on the buddy so you can get extra mega candy while making it your best buddy.

I have a more relaxed approach. I have a main buddy is my primary. When I maxed hearts for that one I switch to my second and sometimes 3rd. Next day I start over. Not as fast but more relaxing for me not to grind as hard. Having fun with the game is most important to me.

Great video, it is nice to see how people do their grind on the aspects of the game that they are into. For me, I work on hundo pokemon that I will eventually max out. They don't have to be useful but I will slowly build up a dex of max/hundo/best buddies. One thing I do is make sure I level the pokemon to 40 (I think 35 is actually enough) before it joins my buddy rotation as this will maximize the XL candy you get from walking them.

Impressive for sure! I personally dont like rushing best buddies. I like the feel of “hanging out” with your favorite pokemon for a while before you hit bb. Same as with real bonding experiences that normaly take some time.

I have 68 BB, slowly grinding for the rest. Probably it will take another 2-3 years but I'm not in a rush.
if you live near the gym that change color often 3 battle hearts are easy to obtain- put your buddy in party (can be on last spot), battle 3 times and exit. Switch to the next buddy. Even better if this gym have AR mapping task.
