The Recreator 3D - How To - Build Notes - RECYCLE - PET#1 - Plastic Bottle Pultrusion Unit

The Recreator 3D's purpose is to Recreate PET #1 Recyclable Plastic Bottles into Useable 3D Filament.

The Smallest, Most Compact, and Portable Pultrusion Kit seen within the community. It's ability to Strip, Reform, Color, and Spool all in one Continuous Pull Cycle. Coming in Under $200, This Community Kit should inspire most Households and Community Team Leaders.

The Recreator 3D, inspired by the XViCO X3S 3D Printers.
It's base structure, a few accessories, and a handful of 3D Printed parts are all that was used.

The Recreator 3D Will be 100% Free As a Community Build.

With the "Pet-Pull" Group from Russia as visual inspiration of using a Pultrusion Method. I wanted to further adapt PET#1 Recycling to be more accessible to every person even easier.

With this Goal, We'll reshape our Future's recycling Methods; One bottle at a time!

Very well done! For PRO users, especially, the end of step 4 is a good place to tune the current on the motor driver boards. I had one set for 2.4 A, which is over twice the rated current of the motor driver, and one set for 0.8 A, which was too low.

Lol. I’m right now printing part 6, the big gear. I was going to ask you for a parts list (numbers) because I think I’ll go with the single motor. But what is benefit of dual motors. Anyhow I’ll just save this video and write down the part numbers needed. I want to thank you Will you be at ERRF this year??

Do you have a parts list for the parts you’re pulling off the 3D printer? I’m wanting to build from parts at my local surplus store.

It would be great to mod the base a bit - make it work for us in Europe, where the recycled XViCO X3S is hard to get - it sort of defeats the purpose if the shipping is counted in. But lots of broken ender 3 around, so the power supply unit, main board and motors are the same. Brackets for extruder and motor holders might differ, though.
