if you want a 14900k just get the 13900k because it might go down like 100 bucks after a while with the 14th gen cpu's

Just go with 7800x3d. With just little bit of undervolting, I was able to surpass 13900k/14900k performance in gaming while using 1/2 power 13900k/14900k used. Price-wise, 7800x3d is also cheaper.

I was thinking of going intel 14th gen, but i paused because first of the insane high temps, second the amount of wattage the thing consumes, third its dead right now with its last legs 15th gen will have come up next year and new socket will replace lga 1700

They should’ve just skipped a generation or two if they were going to be so close in performance to the 13th gen. Hell, even the 12th gen cpus are still very powerful.
