Hey guys it's Isabella from my channel Izzy Priest and I'm here today on consumer health digest to talk to you about 6 different ways you can brighten your complexion. Let's get started with this video.

Tip #1 is to eat the right foods. The type and quality of your foods not only helps the health of your body but the health of your skin too. Having foods like fish, walnuts, flaxseeds. Anything with a high of fatty acids boost the collagen and cell production in your skin. This counteracts or slows down the process of eating, leaving you with healthy, glowing skin.

Tip #2, drinking water enhances many aspects of your health. It increases your skins moisture as well as flushes out all the waste and toxins from your body. If you want to know how you can drink more water throughout the day is if you're ever feeling thirsty, don't go for the sugary beverages like soda or juice. Go have a glass of water. Also you should drink green tea. Green tea is so amazing. Not only does it boost your metabolism, but it provides anti-inflammatory benefits and products your cell membranes. It also just tastes delicious.

Number 3 is to get lots and lots of sleep. Sleep is incredible for your overall health and your skin. The healthier your are, the better and healthier your skin will be.

Tip #4 is to start your day off with some vitamin C. Vitamin C is rich in nutrients, antioxidants. It's actually known as a skin brighten agent too. Your skin will definitely benefit from it. If you want to incorporate more vitamin C into your daily routine, you can drink a glass of warm water in the morning or have an orange with your breakfast.

Tip #5 is to exfoliate your skin. If you have dry flaky skin then you're going want to scrub it off either a wash cloth or a really good scrub or facial cleansing brush. Doing this regularly like once a week will promote soft and glowing skin.

My last tip which is tip #6 is to moisturize. Obviously, washing your face is very important to do every single day, but it also strips natural oils from your face as well. That's why you need a moisturizer to replenish your skin and leave it feeling soft and glowing and hydrated. If you skip moisturizer that could cause you to look a lot older than you actually are. I recommend putting moisturizer on everyday and in the mornings, put one on with SPF or sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun. At night time, use a hydrating moisturizer to re-hydrate and restore your skin while you're sleeping during the night. Also you can use an illuminating moisturizer to give you that extra glow.

Thank you so much for watching. Be sure to check out my channel which is Izzy Priest. For more videos from me. If you want to see other amazing videos, subscribe to Consumer Health Digest. Thanks and goodbye!
