I love how if your a princess you get to go to the hospital or if famous with a full team at hand to help push a documentary, 🤷🏼‍♀️ I guess that’s what it takes to bring a little bit awareness but for a young mom dealing with extreme sickness all day gets no support, gets told to buy vitamin b, “eat crackers and it’s not that bad! It’s morning sickness!” meanwhile I can’t swallow a sip of water or smell my kid, or husband without wanting to throw up or running to the trash can.. i relate to the white flag, this is mine 🏳

Oh my God I remember that. It was praying for sleep because you wake up and that's it. All day and night. Utterly horrendous 😩🤢

I had it with one of mine.. I was put in hozi for a wks rest..I didn’t think much of it.. It was only when they realised I was losing weight.. didn’t take anything for it either.. just joked im puking 24 hrs a day with this one.. he was perfectly healthy ..Bloody grew to 6ft 5” and fit as bloody fiddle! 😂

What resources are available? This is my 4th hyperemesis baby, but 5th hyperemesis gravidarum pregnancy.

I was never diagnosed with anything but I was miserable with my son… I lost at least 10 pounds, made request trips to the ER for hydration, I damaged my esophagus from vomiting so much, at one point I was vomiting blood… this is really serious… I hope we can find relief for these parents soon….

I am currently 21 weeks and had HG from about week 6 and ongoing. It was a complete nightmare I couldn’t wake up from. It was absolutely terrible landing me in the ER various times and I lost 26 pounds couldn’t even keep water down. No prescribed medication helped UNTIL I entered the second trimester and could take steroid hormones. Completed a 21 day treatment as a last resort and it actually worked! It allowed me to stop vomiting and I began to slowly eat and drink more fluids. My doctors let me know it has some increased risks but more so in the first trimester. Medication has never helped me but this changed my pregnancy journey. I still have occasional nausea and a strange relationship with food but nothing compared to how it was. I urge that if you are suffering with HG that you consult with your OBGYN about hormone steroids.

Even the sickness is not as bad as the constant nausea 😢
