Andrew !!! Andrew !!! Andrew !!!
From a content creator perspective, I think this is THE BEST (REALLY THE review I've seen this far !!!! From the quality of the video itself to the comparative analysis (Performance, benchmark, .... HEAT & THERMALS !!!) to the filming angles to the overall display of informations to the transitions of informations to the score & WHO SHOULD BUY THIS DEVICE,
And from a consumer perspective, I have all the required informations I need to help me decide !

Man, you got my like & my sub !!! I will go & check your others videos !! I was looking for inspiration to start a channel for a French audience in West Africa & I will try to copy a lil bit of your work (That work is soooo good, I have to steal some of it). Congrats & keep pushing on this GREAT work!

The wonderful thing called competition. AMD, Intel, Qulacomm, Apple. ARM vs. x86. Increasing efficiency and performance. Nice review.

The 14x for $699 with i7-13800H and 120hz OLED is my new favourite laptop. I am using it with my eGPU and it's so immersive, I love it to bits. The new version would be tempting for the same price, but the heat is really concerning.

5:01 That travel weight is not bad at all. 8:40 I wasn't expecting active noise cancellation on a laptop but this is wonderful 💯👍🏿. 14:51 I like how you can scroll and zoom on the screen using the touchpad.

Excellent review Andrew. However I really think 61.3 degree Celsius underneath is definitely something ASUS needs to fix ASAP along with the Fan noise.

skipped to the battery life test just to see how much of a different it makes to my recently (like really recently, just last week) bought 14 flip up3404. And goddamn, feeling the buyers remorse already 😅. Though the fact that the ux3405 just released in the US, which means it's still a couple or more months to arrive in my country, eases it up a bit. Thanks for the quick performance tests, Andrew!

This laptop is basically perfect for the price.
The battery life is very good, the graphics performance is double that of the previous generation, the screen is one of the best on the market, the speakers are not bad at all, you have active pen support and many more features.
Although it's a high price, what you get is probably one of the best options if not the best of them all.
Thanks for the review.

Purchased this on pre-order date...used it for about 2 days and returned it yet again for the same reason I returned the previous Zenbook 14. It gets VERY hot because ASUS has yet again cramped a powerful chip inside a thin and light chassis they haven't redesigned and the fan noise as well is really noticeable.

There is a new BIOS update that significantly increases performance, you should do a follow-up video as the results are quite dramatic.

Thinking of getting this one for my wifey, with 155H/32GB/1TB, 2.8K OLED being the key here as she is into photography and some video editing. Myself I got the EliteBook 835 G10 7840U/32GB/2TB Samsung 990 Pro with FHD which is sufficient for me, but business class matters more, running Opensuse Tumbleweed (linux).

Currently have the laptop. the thermals is usually reaching upwards of 80 degrees celsius. unfortunately, i think thats an intel problem.

I might be able to choose my next work laptop and this is on my shortlist. The only slight annoyance is the 16GB of memory which is all we can seem to get in the UK right now (and your dollar price is our GBP price for that 16GB model) and inability to expand it, as I'd like 32GB. Other than that this seems to have more than enough grunt to be a day-to-day developer machine, is nice an light for when I have to travel, and if the OLED screen on my wife's much cheaper recent i3 version is anything to go by, I won't be disappointed.

Excellent review. Meteor Lake is a good step in the right direction for Intel and frankly, long overdue. The improved GPU and battery performance are, in my humble opinion, the most important changes Intel is bringing to the table. I might offer that your review seemed to understate the value of the 32GB bump in RAM. For all the value Asus packs into this system, it's a bit puzzling as to why they dropped the numeric touchpad. It was a good feature that set them apart from the competition. I was so very close to pulling the trigger on the 2023 Asus Zenbook 14x at $699, but the changes in 2024, particularly the improved battery life, are too important to set aside. I'll wait for the sale price on the 2024 model.

Thanks for the awesome review. While the amount of RAM of 32GB in this Windows Laptop is quite overkill for my needs, I do definitely like the fact that it comes with more storage and RAM for the price than a MacBook Air M2.

I really wanted to consider this laptop but putting the speakers on the bottom pretty much makes it a no go for me. Most of the time when I'm watching videos, I'm sitting on the couch and the laptop is on my lap. When it's at my desk I'm doing productivity stuff and don't need the sound.

Not bad for 1080p Medium. Better than a Mac!

The 155H is not the replacement for the 13700H, the 165H is...

good review! For me - I would get the pro audio volume meter and no only measure the fan noise but also the speakers. This is something that most reviews ommit - yet some of us including me use our laptops for podcasts, YT etc while roaming our apartments. I am yet to advance from my 2021 Yoga 14IL with upward firing speakers - never done tho and even had returned some ASUS vivobooks for being so quiet...

Nice PC. Camera and speakers are good. Display is good. Lack of the numpad on the TouchPad is no big loss since it was not of much use on the older model as configured. Good to see Asus fixed most of the buggiest issues since its release. Great review as always. Happy New Year. Pretty soon you have another anniversary of your 28th coming up. After a while you want to lose count of them. They keep coming by faster and faster as time goes by.
