Silent Hunter 2 through 4 were the PC games I played the most as a teenager, and still play to this day. While 2's graphics are quite dated, the AI is iffy at best, and it's mission based, I remember playing the heck out of it.

I started playing sub sims way back in 1987 with Microprose Silent Service for the Apple computer. Amazing how far the game technology has progressed since then. Aces of the Deep will always be my favorite.
