Love the fact that you now know and appreciate the impact he had at his previous club too and the bond they must have felt after Ted brought them together as a team. Such a great show!

what I love about this is that the show was never about the futbol, but man they really made me cheer and support a fictional team for three years

I'm NEVER an advocate for the "everyone loves the main character" endings normally, but I spent the entire third season hoping the series would end with a stadium crowd, or at least the pub, joining in on the "Go, Lasso, go, Lasso, go!" chant. He really changed the lives of everyone on the team for the better, and he deserved recognition for it.

His job wasn’t to win, it was to help those guys become the best versions of themselves. I just hope at the end that Ted himself found happiness and someone to settle down with.

Beard in the background for the first dance is the best.

Beautifully done! I thought about that first dance scene during the final, but seeing it comped together hit even harder!

"I don't know how to react to a white man doing a running man in front of everyone" 😂😂😂

I laughed out loud with tears watching Ted go the full circle

I've never known how to react when a grown man makes me cry just from his dancing

I have such high regard for Jason Sudeikis for the honor he bestowed on Wichita State University. Ted Lasso was head coach of the WSU D2 football program that won the national championship. In reality, we lost our football team (in a “We are Marshal” kind of way one month earlier than they) in October of 1970 in the mountains of Colorado; 31 people were lost. We soldiered on until the1986 season, ending a program that started in the 1800s.
To see him dancing in the locker room with the WSU players was amazing. I am reminded of Psalm 31:11 which says “You have turned my mourning into dancing.”

Its crazy how they could do a prequel of Ted's first team and we'd all be there

You react with the unadulterated joy that Ted himself shows--that the team showed when they did the "So Long, Farewell" song and his reaction was "...that was perfect!" This show was something every human should see

Great show, heartfelt and hilarious. Great ending. Would I love to see more? Of course but they had a 3 season plan and executed it perfectly!! Better to leave us wanting more than to stay too long

This was a shout-out to Jason Sudeikis doing the running man in the multi-episode SNL skit “What’s Up With That?” No one minded his being a funny white guy in that beloved sketch, which starred Keenan Thompson.
