FILM DESCRIPTION:
Minutes after Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) left masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie's basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, believing she finally killed her lifelong tormentor. But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie's trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster. The Strode women join a group of other survivors of Michael's first rampage who decide to take matters into their own hands, forming a vigilante mob that sets out to hunt Michael down, once and for all. Evil dies tonight.

I love how Laurie calls The Shape “It.” Remember the flashback of Loomis’s audio in 2018: “It needs to die.”

Hey. I trust Hawkins as an officer before most people. He's truly a good person. After all, he may have known that Michael needed to be stopped, but it didn't mean he'd want to see Michael dead especially after accidentally killing his partner. Knowing the solution and being able to carry it out is about will and not smarts. Hawkins lacked the will and it was clear Brackett wanted revenge.


Laurie's words were right in that fear causes chaos and allows Michael to win by scoring murders easier and being brutal about it. It also showed how out of it she was since she believed that she needed to be the one to kill Michael once and for all like some predetermined thing when it's not. He remembered her but did not go out of his way to finish what was started.

I’m just interested how she’s gonna do this in Ends. Like really interested. The entire TOWN couldn’t do it, firefighters, police, etc. She spent 40 years fortressing her home and it wasn’t enough.

This intrigues me to no end.
