for all the uninformed gringos and religious radicals around here i would like to clarify that with a quick search you could understand that the image of the float which went viral in the 2023 carnival, supposedly being a worship of the devil, was actually precisely the inverse. the entire float was a representation of a biblical passage, revelation 12:7-9, when the archangel michael and his angels fought AGAINST the forces of the devil in heaven.
carnival is a big moving theater with a lot of samba, which becomes a stage to raise important agendas, recreat stories or simply to celebrate brazilian culture.
you gringos seem to have a very limited mind which is only attached to what you judge as the absolute truth. i hope that you can find the same happiness that we have here in your country, which apparently must be very poor culturally since you feel desperate to attack the festivities of another country out of pure ignorance. we will be happier if one day we can share the best we have with each other.
