I honestly dont know how Epica isnt much bigger. They do metal/operatic dynamic the best, imo.
Also, Simones vocals are god tier. You can really hear her control and versatility on albums like Design You Universe and Requiem For The Indifferent. Crescendos, belts, head voices...ahes master class.

Once apon a nightmare and rivers are the two songs where she sings beautifully and then suddenly soars for a moment, and you end up listening over and over for that moment. Tides of time still makes me cry like few others
