Long range familial search is a term used often in Europe. The Netherlands police use it regularly

~ 5:50 no companies dont do that, but unaffiliated parties data mine on genealogical databases.
There are rampant security concerns with them.

I do have privacy concerns about dna tech, but it has done more good than harm so far. People have been exonerated based on it. We are fairly safe from insurance misuse for now, but laws could change.

Your reviews help US out. Fear is lousy motivation. Be good, live a good life and if you belong to 'Mankind' just know that the Truth ALWAYS wins, not us... but it can happen that we win along with the Truth. Still, be cautious along the path of Life with people and maybe mighty Insurance Companies. Do your best, be your best and respect others or leave them alone. If you have nothing to offer of yourself, your feelings, your heart, your mind, your time, let people alone to live their lives. Don't take, that goes for companies too. Otherwise fear or something like fear will come to visit you. If DNA proves one guilty, it has also proved innocence for many others and non-criminal/non-guilty prisoners who have waited years to just live normal life have been given a new start and get to flaunt their DNA like the rest of us thanks to DNA testing.

The insurance company bit is so weird to me as a European. Let's hope we never get the system you guys have.
