The best view of Mt Fuji from a $110 hotel room - Kawaguchiko, Japan

Welp. I think I've got a new favourite place in Japan. Kawaguchiko just blew all my expectations out of the water (and the view from my hotel was pretty great too). The view was worth far more than the price I paid for it!

I just started the video and instantly felt soooo much nostalgia... I stayed for 2 days in Kawaguchiko last November (1 month in Japan), and it was one of the most amazing things I've ever done. Walking through those same streets, seeing the same views in person was so incredible. It's not an overstatement to say it was a dream come true.

I actually sat by the trail surrounding the lake very close to the Komaya for about 2 hours, just looking at the lake, the ducks and the mountain. I need to go back there... Actually if my nostalgia keeps on ramping up the way it has until today, I might end up moving to Japan, everything about that trip was incredible.

BTW good luck with the sunrise, I tried the same but the fog was so dense I couldn't see 50m in front of me. Cleared up until about 10 am

From time to time I come back to this video, after a few years, finally this October I'll be able to be there, and stay on that same ryokan, and shoot photos of lake kawaguchi, Mt. Fuji, Chureito Pagoda and all these places, it's kind a dream that comes true to me.
