That’s a sequence of 1’s and 0’s representing the varying voltage of an electrical signal generated by a microphone wavering from a hi hat (or maybe something else entirely) from the 1980s. Culture frozen in time.

Not to burst your bubble but on a original TR-909 the hihat does not close as far as on a TR-09.

You said you are a Timbaland fan but the reality is from my perspective is I’m not sure if I can be considering so much of his work is either plagiarized or outright stolen. I’m basically a fan of other artists that I thought was from Timbaland essentially.

Looks nice, but it’s limited. It be great if these were able to get updated and were able to download other drums like the jd-xi.

Plus, then you have to record it too, so at that point might as well just use a DAW since you’d be plugging it in the software anyway.
