Hi, im sort of confused as to why 1/3 N is counted when taking moments but UR isnt? Why dont we count UR when taking moments?

For the first question, how come the normal reaction at B is not perpendicular to the ladder (like a peg would be)? Is this something specific to walls? Still teaching myself mechanics with 6 days to go 😂
