in middle school, I had this rubber piece from one of my earplugs stuck in my ear.
Was too embarassed to ask my parents to take me to the doctor, so I tried to remove it myself. I got it out, but poked my ear with the pointed tweezers. In hindsight, I was lucky it wasn't deeper where I could've done serious damage. Go see a doctor, I cringe at myself since then (especially with my german healthcare...)
