We give meaning to everythin', purpose to everythin' even to ourselves to define our existence. There is no ethics, morality because once you start questioning your belief, morality ask "Why do I follow them?". Keep askin' and you'll arive at a point, where there is no answer. Nihilism is the Philosophical viewpoint that there is no (inherent) meaning to anything that is there in existence. There can be an individualistic subjective meaning given to things on an individual level, group level or a societal level, but that doesn't change the fact that that meaning in itself has no objective meaning to it outside of the frame of reference from which that meaning is given to that thing.

I don't know much about philosophy, but I believe that what I always feel nihilism is somewhat the combination of nihilism with existentialism and absurdism. It all profoundly blends and creates a new phinomina ( for me atleast ), which keeps you aware about the world, you are so much aware of the world that rather than spending your life while doing something that includes your creativity, you spend most of your time to define yourself, that what is going on inside the head and it eventually brings you the very base question, why the heck I believe what I believe and what eventually brought that thought to the head and the loop goes on and on. On the other hand another branch of thought is that you have accepted what is going on, you will try your best but if the results won't be in your favour then rather than standing up and create chaos you will accept the fair shares of society in it and accept the decision, which defines a very negative shade towards the life.
