If you shoot down a drone that is register under FAA part 107 or recreational drone purposes under Section 44809 is illegal as it is noted as a register aircraft like a commercial aircraft you will go to jail. And it is dangerous as shooting down a drone will possibly cause explosion due to the LiPO batteries use to power a drone that may cause a house to burn down or cause a wildfire in your community.
