This stuff is a newer technology called SMP= silane modified polymer. Very safe and works in most conditions.

I was installing a piece of decorated rail board as a mini shelf but was not sure how to get it to stay on the wall. I tried nails and silicone glue but the angle of the nails wouldn't allow a good contact. I remembered I had a tube of Loctite from a couple years ago, still fresh in the tube with no cap. I used it and it stuck that piece of synthetic wood to the wall like a champ. Great product 👍
