I purchased a 2011 sx4 sedan sport and I love the car, Its pretty responsive with the 2l six speed and most of all it has a pretty good reliability and I actually feel safe in it. I 've owned 4 suzuki's in the last 20 years never had any major issues. Thats why i'm loyal to the brand.

As for the guy test driving the car, he is probably pissed off that suzuki let him borrow the car for one day.

He is right, but despite all of that, I love mine. Mine is a manual and it's so much fun!!

I purchased a new 2010 Suzuki SX 4 in spring of 2010. It has only been driven the city in temperate non-winter conditions. No ice, snow, or gravel on the road. Much of the front end is pitted with paint chips. They are everywhere, right down to the primer. I take my car in for regular service intervals and keep it clean. The finish is rapidly disintegrating. I spoke with Suzuki corporate and they recommend I take it into the dealership. I will do this and keep you all posted.

I'm 6' 4" and have plenty of leg room in my sx4 hatch, this guy is crazy!

I used to have it. It's was the 2012 one and the driving was great, good acceleration, good breaks, but the gas mpg was pretty bad and big truck size in the back. But why most hate, was the leg room. It was way to cramp to fit my 5"11 frame in there. And that's when I traded it for a Ford Escape.

I won't want to travel cross country with that guy. I use my dad's suzuki from Antioch IL to Poway CA with all my stuff. My tv, computer, clothes and a lot of shit and I made it fine. I love his car. I want my own. and his model was the 2008.

@steverooni99 No my friend, I don't have it confused with the KIA Rio. GM has a manufacturering agreement and stake in Daewoo. So they sell the same car globally but badged as a different depending on country or region. That was back then, but not now with Suzuki as GM doesn't have a stake in Suzuki. It was sold as the Daewoo Lacetti in Korea. Hatch back or sedan. Itr explains it more in the link. I love cars too:)

because there about 40 of them on my block alone. and it's not that my suzuki's have been bad more like they're my unicorns. i love them just had crappy luck with them.

Exterior - SX4 sedan is decent looking, although from the rear of the car it does look skinny. Corolla has those elongated break light housing to try to combat the skinny look. Same thing with Honda, they use a long chrome strip bellow the H moniker on the trunk to avoid the skinny look.
Overall - The SX4 sedan competes quite well on Horsepower and Price, specially as equiped. The interior could use a refresh and the exterior styling enhancements, but all in all it's alot of bang for the buck!

Would be nice if we would have gotten the price, and gas mileage.

They compare them to other cars in the class. Adding a telescoping wheel is not too hard and most cars have this feature.

@steverooni99 I tried posting a link for my source but it didn't work. GM being GM brought over badged engineered Korean cars and badged them as Suzuki's, at least for the U.S. Market. The Forenza is the Lacetti sedan in other parts of the world. yes it might have been designed by an Italian but that doesn't mean the car itself isn't Korean. Not starting an argument but that's what I know about it.

tint the windows, lower it 2 or 3 inches, and put some Konig rims on it, and maybe an intake and exhaust. that's my idea daily driver of this car. i do like this car though.

Ok so I just test drove one of these, here are my impressions. Handling - handles great, better than you would expect for the catagory. Steering is dead on, very neutral. I drove the 150hp, 6-speed manual, and the power was fine, better than the base engine in the civic(140hp 5spd) or the corolla(130hp 5spd), much better than the base versa(107 hp LOL) and yaris(106hp LOL).
Interior - sx4 sedan is spartan, basic, not bad quality, just not as esthetically pleasing as Corolla or Civic, cont -
