Things like this amaze me, as a mechanic I love removing parts dismantling them and reassembling after cleaning so I know the work effort and time taken to do this kind of thing and the expense of it too, I'm kind of guessing that as satisfying as this is the cost would be somewhat close to buying a new one.

I use to do this for a living, I could watch it all day I still go through all my old photos it's an amazingly satisfying job. I love to see people still doing it. So sad that it's a dying profession.

Everytime I see someone work on watches or shows their inside, as someone who wants to become an engineer, I am always impresed by the minute details of craftsmanship and notorious steadiness of the workers hands. Incredible if you can work in the field, you got my highest respect. Now, those who buy or market stuff like Rolex etc are another completly different type of conversation.
