What happens at the end when you don't say a thing to BT? Well, it seems he was honest to his pilot about what was going to happen not just in the moment, but after as well.

In my opinion, the original is way more impactful than this. The "goodbye Jack" which is still very emotional and sad, just doesn't even compare to "Trust me..."

Only recently learned the only way for BT to say this is if you didn’t say anything when in the arc cannon.

Glad this exists in game, but “trust me.” Is a phrase that BT says time and time again to cooper, I think saying that one more time at the apex of their relationship is more emotional than just “goodbye.”

This version feels like Cooper realised how far BT was willing to go to fulfil his protocols; after losing his original pilot, Lastimosa, BT felt he failed his pilot, himself and the mission, despite it not being his fault, taking the loss so hard he’d be willingly sacrificing himself to ensure he didn’t fail his protocols again. That goes to show just how well the militia programmed its Titan AI; major Terminator 2 vibes from this campaign, with BT.

This is the one time BT doesn't use any code names or formality like pilot or Cooper. It really feels like he's talking one on one with you for once, like he's talking to Jack and not just another pilot.

I literally just finished my fourth run of the game and I forgot to pick my dialogue so it was just silent, so when I heard him just say "Goodbye Jack" I felt so bad and hurt😭

Just played through campaign for first time and got goodbye jack... was very emotional lol. Trust me wouldnt have hit as hard. lol. The whole game he refers to you as pilot and for him to be personal at the end was touching.
