Day Example (EK27-2-8) of the Deer Palatability Study currently in process at the Deer Research Center at Penn State University. Intent is to determine the deer's preference for native browse sprayed with DeerDETOUR™.

This trial is the 1st of (3) trials to be conducted this Spring. Trial 1 (March 18-22) uses browse with no vegetation, Trial 2 (April) is with emerging vegetation, and Trial 3 (May) will be with full vegetation.

All browse was clipped in advance and brought to the Deer Research facility and placed in marked buckets where the deer's eating preference could be observed with trail cameras. All browsing activity over a (5) day period is documented with the browsing time per occurrence on each bucket.

The testing methodology and final results of the DeerDETOUR™ Palatability Study will not be published until the conclusion of the study in May, 2013.
