Elon Musk wants to bring his Starlink satellite internet to India, and he also spoke to PM Modi on his trip to the US.

Indian Billionaire Mukesh Ambani wants to stop that and he wants the Indian government to auction the spectrum of satellite internet.

Musk and other global players like Amazon want the government to license it.

Licensing will give an equal playing field to all the players and create a competitive landscape.
