The magnetic flux through each loop of a 35-loop coil is given by (36t − 0.71t^3)∙10^(−2) [T∙m^2], where the time is in seconds. Determine the induced emf at t=5.0 [s].

How was the following equation: (36t − 0.71t^3)∙10^(−2) [T∙m^2] derived? I cannot find this starting equation in any of the literature for magnetic fields and coils. How did you derive this equation? Was this equation derived through a cubic regression model and if so what data set was used (and how was it measured) to compute the aforementioned equation? Thank you in advance for your answer.

What if I have a coil at home, without any data? Is it possible to do all the measurements?

I am beginner i want to understand the basic please help me to understand the logic.

I want to work with electromagnetic experiments in AC and DC

So i have tried with my Aquarium aerator air pump

iron rod size size 2 cm

Originally the coil was winding with 36 gauge and working with AC 230 v

I have replaced with 26 gauge wire with 100 turns after giving supply 12 V DC 1.3Amps or 230 volts supply it has burned or smoke sign coming small rod is getting very heat .

can you please explain what i did wrong
