Imo Catch the Rainbow has onenof the most underrated stand designs, its so simple and it definitely works best as the mask and not a fully formed manifestation

I swear In A Silent Way is PEAK stand design, idk what araki was going through when he made it but something passed on his mind to make such a peak stand, and then to somehow kill it and it's user and completely waste the potential sandman had.

Most SBR stands dont have bodies and the ones that do belong to main characters.

Stone ocean about every stand had a body whether it used it or not. I see how that could set peoples expectations up for disappointment if you went from one part to next, because even the previous part before Stone ocean most the stands had a form.

sbr is my favourite part, but in my opinion best stands in part 6, especially C-Moon

The only interesting ones personally is the humanoids and 20th Century Boy (the bound stand)

I mean the fact that there was only a small handful of regular humanoid stands, that were all super powerful made them so much more impactful. And D4c basically being able to 1v3 against Johnny, Diego and wekapipo being one of the first we see again makes it so much more impactful
