By viewing the smoking ALCOS time and again I am of the opinion that if this type of maintainance continues for another 5 to 10 years time is not for off for the RAILWAYS going to the BOTTOM OF THE SEA I am a Train Lover since 1954 aging 80 years and one of my hobbies is seeing the development of INDIAN RAILWAYS Exchanging views with my railway friends BY seeing the attitude of the Railways in total I am afraid that the time will not far for Railways becoming collapse in the near future

While mechanical efficiency is an obvious consideration I do wonder about the purity of the fuel. I used to have a problem with marine diesel engines and often got dark smoke because of bad burning.

These are obviously older engines are probably due for a overhaul or replacement.  Never the less, they are doing a great job.

Superb! In these kinds of videos, the audio is just as important as the video and you've captured both perfectly. It would have been nice to name the trains and the location of the shots, though. I was particularly interested in knowing the location of the second video with the odd-shaped mountain in the background.
