I just finished binge-watching the series. I think everyone in the series is terrific but Kiefer Sutherland has really, really won my heart. And after this interview, it seems that he is an incredibly humble and decent human being himself which reflected in the humanity that shines through Tom Kirkman's leadership. Also, mad respect for Kal Penn, for putting his country over his career. Most importantly, being a government bureaucrat myself, this show made me introspect about the nature of leadership, about the dilemmas and the stress, and the personal sacrifices that often go unseen, about the righteous fury we are supposed to feel in the face of greed and corruption and political partisanship but often fail to do, about our own duty towards our country...just as Mr. Sutherland points out. It does make me THINK. That's what makes it great in my eyes. Kudos to the creators including the actors and every individual associated with the project to bring out such a thought-provoking yet entertaining drama that mirrors the reality yet gives us a hint of an ideal!

WOW...I love this TV series!!! I cannot believe I watched this whole two season series in 48hours. Maggie Q, Kiefer Sutherland, Michael J Fox and the rest of cast were outstanding. One of my favorite shows to watch now on Netflix. More seasons please. Story lines are excellent!!! Keep up the great and fantastic work.

KS is a great characteristic . His voice has a soothing algorithm. His love for history deems him adaptable for stately manor. Domestic as well as foreign issues are covered with narratives denoted as a faucet for reality taking licenses for reality. CAL PENN White House experience helps to make these events authentic.
