Please bring back Lyor, Kendra, Mike, and Chuck for Season 4 please! And maybe Hannah too? I was kinda hoping she managed to ran out of the building!

I’m gonna stop watching this show. This show went from being a decent, feel good, maybe slightly boring but intriguing show to dropping all kinds of f-bombs and sex scenes in season 3. Idk it just feels so forced. The cussing is weird and actually takes away from the gravity of certain scenes. I can’t take this show seriously anymore.

One intrigue question
Is there continuity about Emily meeting with Russian Spy?

Edit : No continuation. Plus Hannah's death is underwhelming.

Season 3 was REALLY bad

The first two seasons we're great, now that Netflix has taken it over they obviously have a new agenda to spew. Great two year run, but you lost a lot of viewers. Just check the ratings.

This season was the strangest of them all. They started the third season inserting new characters and an original plot, but it was difficult to watch without having the sensation of strangeness. I was disappointed not to have some of the important characters since the first season who simply disappeared this season, yes, I know some actors may have chosen not to continue or there may have been some problem with contracts, but have no explanation for the non-appearance of Mike who was a very loyal White House employee, was disappointing. In the same way as Kendra, Trey and especially Lyor who had so much highlight in season 2 and nor even got to be cited in 3.
And Chuck? It is rather strange that he does not appear at any moment, being a professional who helped in the previous plots is difficult to believe that they would not think of him to help in the search of the terrorist, or at least to appear in tribute to Hannah Wells, that, this character deserved at least that his death had a repercussion of more impact in the history, or with the personages who knew it. But it was something like Ivan Drago: "If she died, whatever. Let's hang a star and okay." Really?
The story is not completely bad, there are his hits focusing on a more "human" side and exploring the various faces of politics in a presidential race. The new characters are indeed very interesting to the plot, but everything was a bit unbalanced with the development of the central characters of the series. Tom is the only character who seems not to have suffered from personality change.
The narrative of the series and that "feeling" he had, seem to have been lost this season. As a fan of the series since season 1, I say it was pretty disappointing.
A reboot would have been interesting to Netflix.

This is the second bait and switch series I have watched on Netflix, it starts out just fine till the 3rd season vulgarity of language increases dramatically along with other TMI's, and now they want increase the monthly. Thanks Netflix for helping me make up my mind.

Some disappointments in the third season for me. The new chief of staff came out of nowhere. Writers took too much liberty with language - it didn't fit the characters we had come to know and did not become Kirkman. Kirkman loses his way illogically and never regains. Biggest disappointment is losing Hannah Wells. Aaron's girlfriend is miscast. The psyche interview was confusing, then too long. In a pre-season interview, Sutherland said that ten episodes allowed them to go into more detail. I didn't see it. In fact, much of the action was too fast, too chopped up. Had the episodes been two hours each, it might have worked but ten one-hour episodes were not enough. Bring back Hannah. Have her crawl out of the building before it blows up. ANYTHING!
