It's great to recognize Sona for her improv skills and authenticity, and her sparkling laughter deserves recognition too... because, among other reasons, it gives Conan that much more incentive to be funny

Sona and Conan's relationship is so beautiful. New CNAF fans lack the history of the relationship and find Sona a bit pointless in the podcast, but if you were watching them both over the last 13 years, you'd be enamoured that she got as far and successful as she did with Conan by her side

Sona is LEGIT part of the heart and soul of this podcast. Like you couldn't say that about any of Conan's previous endeavors which NEEDED Conan but Sona and Conan go together like peanut butter and wheat germ and it's great

Sona is the perfect foil for Conan. I like Gourley too, but he is a more a calm variant of Conan. It's weird how their grouping has come to be like the standard morning radio show lineup with two guys and a gal, except in this case both of the guys are actually funny, not having to oversell anything, and Sona is so natural and not annoying or seeming to be just there to have "the female perspective" or have the shocking dirty mouth.

I love how they play up Conan being this overbearing boss bit and not like they're best friends. It's so wholesome to see a guy who is actually a caring and good boss even in a high stress gig. I'm sure it's not always rosey, but she stuck around 20 years for a reason and she was never looking for this to happen. Just the mutual love made it all work and it's really nice to listen to and see. Those kind of bonds are the best kind of bonds.

I’m so glad that other people have noticed the improvement on Sona’s improv! I’ve commented on on it before in another video, I think the one where tig notaro is talking about Star Trek. And Conan goes “I had you edit out all of her scenes” and Sona goes “we had to shut down production for two days.” That’s a big improvement compared to like the early sound effects theater, where she’s going “yes, uh… Doctor”

Ever since the remotes when Sona is in them I've wanted her to be part of the show, and it's worked out amazingly. Conan Gourley and Sona are the BEST possible outcome of casting this podcast. I just wish Jordan was in more stuff. I know he can't be in it all the time otherwise it would be too draining and become annoying, but he should do something with Conan once a month, or join the podcast once a month. Same with aaron bleyaert, he needs to be in more stuff on camera or audio.

That was brilliant, When Sona said it's okay if I'm bad because I am on with Conan and it just reflects badly on Conan, at that moment if there was a thought bubble next to Conan's head, I would like to think it read "I did not come here to be insulted (a call back to Larry King RIH)". I really love the dynamic on the show, even more than other shows he has hosted. I really think this is his Magna Opus.

Conan likely has had personal assistants going back to his start on _Late Night_ but I think Sona is the only one who has been mentioned let alone makes regular appearances.
