Climate change needs to be tackled by a global effort, with the countries creating the biggest emissions required to make the biggest adaptations.

The EU and UK create more than 7% of CO2 emissions worldwide.

Almost 200 countries are being asked for their plans to cut emissions at the upcoming COP26 climate conference, and it could lead to major changes to our everyday lives.

This is a GLOBAL THING. Every single human must participate and do the best he/she can.
But this is never going to happen if it involves money. So we are doomed.

I don't see why Europe is so concerned. Many items on Amazon and Walmart are from China. All the glass/ brass/ plastic drinking straws I gotten as gifts, are from Chinese factories.

Nuclear power, but as we can read only 7.3% of CO2 is produced in EU and UK. It looks to me as if they're spending too much time on that

Stop buying cheap tat from huge internet corporations.
Don’t go electric with a new vehicle, just don’t buy one.
Turn off the TV, stop listening to the BBC and all the perpetual waffle, save electricity.

By traveling back in time to the 60's and imposing a carbon tax on industry (when climate change was first discovered). What is actually happening (and completely pointless) is creating a narrative that in some way, we the citizens are to blame. Stop talking and get it done!

Only the rich countries can 'barely' attempt to tackle climate change. The developing countries will never sacrifice their pursuit for economic prosperity on the alter of climate change!

Could the bbc put out their total air miles for all their employees as a whole to the public please because I think it’s very relevant to climate change and if the bbc stopped their employees flying around the world it would make a massive impact ⚠️

People in the US don’t care about emissions unfortunatelly. China even less. What can we do to convince them to recycle, take care of their own environment and invest in clean energy?
