1. Open the Google Chrome browser.
2. Click the Customize and control Google Chrome (three-dot) button in the upper-right corner.
3. Select "Downloads" from the drop-down menu.
4. In the Downloads window, click on the cross icon (next to each entry) for the files you want to remove individually.
5. To clear all entries, click the More actions (three-dot) icon in the upper-right corner of the Download page and select "Clear all."
Let’s clear the download folder in the Microsoft Edge browser.
1. Open the Microsoft Edge browser.
2. Click the Settings and more (three-dot) icon in the upper-right corner.
3. From the drop-down menu, select "Downloads."
4. In the Downloads view, you can remove individual files by clicking the trash can icon next to each entry.

6. In the Remove all download history pop-up box, click on the Remove all button.
