For those of us that are working on old Japanese cars (240z) that want to go EFI this seems like a god send product. I can't just go out and buy a new tank set up for EFI, so I think this is the way to go. The hydramat is pretty impressive as well and solves another of my "known" issues. I'll be purchasing this and installing it and I'll come back with my feedback. Thanks!

Hey Holley, for a daily driver street build with a Sniper Stealth setup, what is the realistic life span of this hydramat?

All your paperwork on the matter states 5 to 10 years but also states it is dependent on how clean your fuel is which for a daily driven street vehicle is very dependent on how clean the fuel from the gas station is. Like wise it also states in extreme use cases to check the HydraMat at regular intervals. I dont think people with classic cars retrofitted to fuel injection or daily drivers are going to be wanting to check the HydraMat at regular intervals by dropping their tanks.

So like my question says, what is the realistic life span for a daily driver? Surely this will last longer than the fuel pump does and our electric fuel pumps would go out before the HydraMat needs to be replaced.

The other question is the instructions state gasoline based fuels but no oils, diesel, or other fluids. What is this "other fluids" meaning? We cant run fuel injector cleaner or fuel additives without harming the mat?

Everything about this retrofit kit is great but I'm not sure about the 6AN limitation for the fuel outlet fitting & line, when pushing 800+ hp.

That looks so cool and worth the money but where is the device to indicate how much fuel is in the tank?

We installed one of those in my muscle car and we mounted it towards the back so it always get fuel.
The problem is now the gas gauge reads much higher than what's really back there another word for gal gives me over half a tank. Is there an adjustment for the float level

This item is great but the prices I am seeing on ebay and Amazon, it would be cheaper to buy a fuel tank with the fittings for the pump included. A fuel tank is $100 bucks and up and an in tank pump set up is from $40 bucks and up. Now tell me how can buying this setup which costs $600 bucks and up be better than just buying a tank and sender unit? They need to seriously consider the price of this item....

I have the Sniper 2 kit with the returnless in tank pump ? I have two extra holes in the housing but do i plug them ? Nothing in instructions or parts ? What do i do since the holes will leak if i do not seal them off ? I know one can be used for vent but my tank is vented on 1957 T Bird ?

What is the difference between this drop in module and the cheaper ones with the 340 pump. Are all of them return or returnless ok for use with the sniper 2300.

How about a part numbe? I like the concept of this setup as a returnless option.

I have a 1989 dodge W100 with throttle body injection and factory in tank fuel pump is corroded. This style is no longer produced. Would this be the answer to my problems?
