I love having an obd reader in my diesel tow rig as I drive. It allows me to keep an eye on boost, transmission temp, oil temp, and plenty of other important gauges that don't come in the dash from the factory. Keeping an eye on those stats while towing seems like a way better way to protect my drivetrain than going without.

That's exactly what happened to my car the battery was weak and it just started going goofy intermediate windshield wipers didn't work all kinds of lights came on in the dash. A good battery took care of all that and the codes were reset. It runs like a dream...

Right on the battery. My car was doing weird things, the radio stopped working and the seat belt warning wouldn't ding. The dealer changed the battery and the main power cable as there was corrosion. All under warranty.

I bought from Carmax, I wanted a long wheelbase Lexus LS460 and carmax was the only place I could find one. Buying experience was good and 90 day warranty helped fix some minor issues. The extended warranty they sell you is garbage however.
