Should you ever be masculine when working with children? currently, I am working as an instructional aid at a middle school, and in my 8th grade math class there are many boys and I started wielding my masculine energy to get them to pay attention and especially to stop them from seeing me as a sexual object that is open to being treated in that light, or to create an environment conducive to learning and focus, and I admit, I wanted to command their respect at the time as well, because I am not even a teacher at this point. I knew after school that I was taking it too far and I need to relax. I will continue meditating until I need to see them again on Monday. they are nice people, and I am greatly enjoying the work. It felt good to wield my power over them as well, but it wasn't sitting right with me. I was more easy going at the start, but one of them accidentally said something that was too forthcoming, and it freaked me out and I reverted to full masculine energy. I get that this is a precarious situation, and maybe you don't even agree with school so much. I want to be a good teacher, or to do the best that I can.
