Mamuty and Mohanlal usually call the shot in mollywood for years. Those who appease them will be treated well and those who take individual stand will be harassed, abused and thrown out of the set, be it man or woman..
Women who silently gave in and ready to sleep with the male stars and their minions are given good roles, more chances and paid awards. Even drivers of these superstars have upper hand over the female actors. New gen cinema is infested with drugs and free sex and the young girls and boys who want to be part of mollywood were brainwashed for being cool. Bottom-line is it's like a pool of sick and you will be forced to step on throwing all cautions to the wind. After all these, women paid less than 10% of their male counterparts.
These are all proven facts.

Two actor MLAs in the LDF government are well known exploiters of women in the film industry. But CM Gold Vijayan won't say a word and he also suppressed the Committee report for 4 years. Very progressive. 😅

Hopefully other indian film industries are investigated also. For instance in the Tamil film industry, during the metoo movement, some celebrities were named, but unfortunately no action was taken. Instead the victims were shamed and they were even banned from dubbing work, etc

Well I've some things which hasn't or not been noticed by many, though I'm not in favour of anyone involved in the case due to which the Justice Hema committee report has come out.

1) the incident involving the assault happened and the very next day the entire Malayalam movie artists held an open stage meeting at Cochin durbar hall grounds, where a former actress the only person in that meeting, openly made a claim that there's a conspiracy in this assault case. How did this lady knew there was a conspiracy much before the police have even started the investigation?

2) Why did the assault victim deny going for a medical report in the initial 48 hours of the incident ?

3) What made the culprit who's name syncs with a popular bike name scream in front of the media that he needs to talk to a MADAM who has more information related to this case but was denied in the early days of his arrest ? Who's the Madam here which the investigating people haven't revealed or taken it seriously.

4) There was media reports of a female high ranking officer who was bent upon wreaking some kind of vengeance on the actor involved and was taking the entire print and reel media news people for a ride while calculating the length and breadth of the land belonging to the actor in the full view of news media cameras and made a ultimate mockery of self as well as the state government. What was this officer's interest and her so called friendship with the actress mentioned in the point 1?

5) Doesn't the state government have any machinery and infrastructure to call in people for questioning or gathering evidences, where the actress mentioned in the point 1 was called in for a ROUTINE QUESTIONING at a resort near to guruvayur?

Well yes women are exploited at various levels and places it's not just limited to film industry, so have to be voiced at every place. What should be done is what makes the perpetrators to feel that they can do anything and walk away with ease. This mindset should be checked and pondered ?

For decades the Malayalam film industry has been plagued by the seniors who destroyed the very fabric of the industry. The younger generation over the last 10-15 yrs has revived it and brought much critical acclaim, well deserved too. However, this AMMA is a mafia organisation where these seniors abuse their power to make everyone else fall in line. The 2 MLA actors are notoriously famous for their female related antics, then shamelessly defend a convicted actor and as there was no consequence others do the same. These women need a safe environment! No compromises anymore. Punish the guilty. And this is 1000 times more amplified in telugu, kannada and bollywood. Atleast in Kerala there is a voice that can now be heard. The movie criminal mafia nexus is absolutely evident. But no one dare say anything due to the spineless politicians and judiciary!
