When to Turn on Your Alliance? - Survivor Burning Question

On the last Survivor Burning Question before the Survivor 44 Finale, we had to take a look back at Survivor history to study, "When should you turn on your alliance in Survivor?"

After seeing Yam Yam wrestle this week with the decision of staying Tika strong with Carolyn and Carson, or make a move and go on his own, Rob Cesternino looks back on previous Survivor alliances in the final votes of a season.

Take a look back at some of the Survivor Final Threes, and Fours with the introduction of Final Four Fire-making, as we prepare for the Survivor 44 Finale.

Yeah have been loving this series. Although Why _ lost is my favourite podcast.

Carson was right not to flip, but Yam Yam needed to. His winning move would have been locking in a final 3 with Jaime and Heidi so he could pull in Heidi to vote out Carolyn without needing Carson on board. But based on the players in the game calling Carson the biggest threat (specifically Jaime, who is on her way to jury), he definitely will have jury cred. Yam Yam is the only one of Tika who nobody on their way out considered a threat. He has the most work to do if he wants to sit next to the other Tikas.

I hope all three make it/ even though i dont think Heidi or Lauren has a chance they still have votes on the jury. Tika has no original tribe mates on the jury. So I would want to go to the end with all three and let the best one win.

firemaking needs to go, or if u want to keep it. have there be no final 4 immunity and instead all 4 make a fire at tribal the winner gets immunity and then u immediately vote, would allow for the jury to still see the firemaking but not put more emphasis on it than final 4 immunity like it has now, additionally the vote following would provide jeff with his much needed last second drama instead of an easy boot of the best player
