Giant Leaps Symposium at MIT - Apollo: Reflections & Lessons (session 1) AeroAstro 2009

The Giant Leaps Symposium commemorates the fortieth anniversary of the Apollo moon landing. It was held at MIT on June 11th 2009 and organized by the MIT Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

The symposium opens with a short film titled “Giant Leaps” featuring comments from eighth graders to Apollo astronauts, reflecting on the legacy and potential of the Apollo mission to the Moon.
