Anemo MC can be substituted for Lynette in any of these teams!! Sometimes they are better than her. Lots of comments have nice ideas too, early game is ripe for creativity!

Also yes I realize noelle requires wishing but using her is still in the spirit of the video :)

Great video. Anytime I look up teams I always wonder what new players are supposed to do. Even the f2p friendly teams require a lot of 4* and even constellations for those 4* that you might not even have.

Ive just started a new account and fridge is by far the best team, u just need to invest on Barbara EM with magic guide, dendro mc instructor, amber (just for cryo abyss mages) kaeya er wep sands and ascension will give u 100% uptime easily. Works great in World Exp against wooden/rock shields, amber can be replaced with lynette for taunt-grouping.

Freeze and bloom go really well together. Something like Kaeya, Lynette, Collei/DendroMC, Barbara would work well for early game.
I used the upgraded version Ganyu, kazuha, Nahida, 1000 EM Barbara in this Spiral Abyss and it was pretty fun. Floor 12 1st half in 1:20~1:30.

Honestly, for the BARE MIMIMUM (and still doing okay damage) all you need is:
• Anemo Traveler (VV - any 4 set, stats don't matter).
• Kaeya (any artifacts, try for ATK Sands + Cryo Goblet + Crit Circlet)
• Noelle for heals (as a Noelle main just shield & spin to win to maximise healing procs).
• Flex, preferably any Pyro (Amber / Xiangling) or Hydro (Barbara).

Then, after reaching Sumeru, just go:
• Dendro Traveler (Deepwood Memories - any 4 set, stats don't matter).
• Lisa (any artifacts just full EM).
• Barbara (any artifacts just full HP).
• Flex (literally anyone tbh).

I might even create a F2P 2nd account and do this if I'm itching for more Genshin.

A great way for early players to find uses for starter characters!

I wanted to add a key detail about overloaded... if you build lisa with em overloaded becomes way powerful in the early game. Its almost essential to have because it can break many annoying shields (wooded, rock, cryo). And if the hilichurls die as they go flying then you dont have to chase them. Its easy to set up since grass is everywhere and burns easily, or enemies will have torches, so Lisa can be a satisfying driver without really needing noelle or geo mc to deal with those kinda foes quickly

I've been playing for close to a year and this video finally let me understand how to get Sucrose to drive in a Vape team.

I'd built some fairly good teams by the book, but there's a lot of core play/rotation stuff that just never felt properly explained before now

Just pretend it’s 4.1 or later, so no more Bennett as a crutch. If you need resonance for Xiangling, you still have Amber.

If you're going mono pyro with only Bennet and xiangling, I think you're better off using Bennett as an on-field dps, it also helps you to deal with xiangling high energy needs early game.

I think xiangling is a very f2p friendly unit but not a beginner friendly unit. Low ar players dont have access to emblem, or er weapons which is a must

For Barbara vaporise teams, it's best to not use her skill as its hydro application can prevent Barbara's charged attacks from vaporising.
Another piece of advice for these teams is to make sure Barbara is standing in Bennett's circle while she attacks; her base attack is low, so Bennett's attack buff is a huge increase to her damage.

You really should have said more about Traveler for early accounts. Having one character you can level up once, and just have to do talents on each element, is pretty useful.

No one talks about it or needs it now, but early game, electro Traveler gives a consistent way to deal offield electro damage with their burst, making them a decent hyperbloom team with Barbara as an onfield hydro unit, without needing to swap as frequent as your example.

Geo Traveler equipt woth Archaic Petra in a Mono team, like mono Pyro, probably would also add some good damage, or put them alongside Noelle for an early game duo Geo, and then fill the other two slots with what you need.

Anemo traveler isn't as important now with Lynette, so I get not mentioning them as much, same with hydro Traveler, as in sure onfield Barbara actually does more damage, but Electro Geo and especially Dendro Traveler all have some important use to an early game player

Early game Amber with Xingqiu and Chongyun can pull off some useful combos. You can use Amber's burst into Xingqiu's skill (twice if he's on Sac Sword) or Amber's burst into Chongyun's burst. The Xingqiu combo was my go-to attack in my early game before I had any 5stars since with Sac Sword all 4 hits from Xingqiu could vape when used under Amber's fiery rain burst. Similarly, all of Chongyun's burst hits will melt if someone wanted to try that combo. Sadly, Xingqiu and Chongyun don't match the definition of truly f2p for this video, but they're both common 4stars that can do well early game.

Amber was the pick I used for early game Pyro reaction teams because I didn't get Bennett for a really long time, which also meant Xiangling was staying benched for a while. If people later on miss out on the free Bennett, using Amber might be helpful in some situations. I still bring Amber to Spiral Abyss sometimes if I'm dealing with Cryo shields and Bennett is busy on the other half.
