The Big Bookshare podcast on Saroo Brierley's Lion

Показать описание
The Big Bookshare is a pilot impact project designed and delivered by the Humanities team at the University of Wolverhampton to provide educational activities and wellbeing benefits for prisoners. It invites inmates of four prisons in Kent to partake in a mass bookclub organised by Professor Sebastian Groes, Dr Peter Harvey and prison librarian Victoria Barnett and a series of creative writing workshops designed by Dr R.M. Francis.
In this podcast Professor Sebastian Groes and Dr Rob Francis set-up a discussion of Saroo Brierley's Lion (2013) used as the basis of a discussion at book groups.
The project was generously funded by Arts Council England and the University of Wolverhampton's Centre for Transnational and Transcultural Research.
